Lacuisine stretches the length of the Florenville-Neufchateau road, parallel to the river Semois. Previously spelt Cuisina (or Quisine), it evokes a time when the counts of Chiny installed their cuisines' (kitchen) for hunting season.
Downhill from the village, the remarkable old watermill restored and in working order also operated a sawmill.
